Content in Salesforce is an important feature to manage your files and documents securely. One can share content and also track the number of times the content is viewed and downloaded. A secure URL can be generated for sharing the content.
On navigating to Setup | Content Deliveries | Settings, one can configure content delivery options here.
The content delivery feature converts documents, such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint files, into an online format that makes viewing content as easy as clicking on a link. You can send the content to recipients inside or outside your organization, and Salesforce.com tracks how frequently the content is viewed.
