With an understanding of how serverless applications work, now it's time for us to take a look at the advantages provided by this development approach:

  • Reduced development efforts: By using the services provided by the third-party cloud providers, we can reduce the development efforts for some of the common functionalities that are found inside an application, such as user authentication, notification, and file storage.
