Chapter 12. Business Activity Monitoring

Throughout the previous chapters, you were introduced to an approach to design an architecture supporting the definition, design, and execution of business processes. This approach has incorporated interactions with systems, events occurring, user tasks, mobile interfaces, complex cases, and business rules. This gives us a comprehensive solution to roll out a platform to support an organization's business architecture and processes. However, when implementing a business process architecture, the initial rollout of the solution should be seen as only the first step, as a preparation for the ongoing execution and continuous improvement of processes.
