Summary

In this chapter, we looked into the regular schedule of a blue team and their usual responsibilities, including system security, endpoint security, cloud security, and insider defense planning. We also covered the blue team’s strategy and why that is important. We looked at some analogies, a medieval kingdom and a hospital, to understand this better, and always remember to make such analogies whenever we need to explain what the blue team is doing at any specific time.

In the next chapter, we will be covering threats and how those threats are being monitored by the blue team, what will they notice, and what will they not notice if different circumstances occur.
