In this chapter, we have seen different ways to manage and access the Storage Services. The platform exposes REST APIs web services that can be consumed from any HTTP talking application. Microsoft also provides a lot of platform specific client libraries that wrap around these REST APIs and provide a higher level of abstraction that makes dealing with the Storage Services time effective and straightforward for developers. In the next chapter, we will demonstrate the first service, blobs, as part of the Azure Storage offering.
