Creating a custom Theme

In this section, you will return to the Chapter07/drivingInBe.cptx file and create a new custom Theme. To do so, you will first apply one of the predefined Themes of Captivate to the project. You will then modify the Master Slides and the Styles of this theme to create your own custom Theme. The steps are as follows:

Return to the Chapter07/drivingInBe.cptx file.
Use the Themes icon of the Big Buttons Bar to apply the Blank theme to the project.
Click on Yes to acknowledge and clear the warning message.
By applying the Blank theme to the project, you modify the overall look and feel as well as the styles already present in the project. The Blank theme is an excellent starting point for creating your own custom theme.
Use the Themes | Save Theme As menu item to create a new Theme.
Save the new Theme as Chapter07/MFTC-Theme.cptm.
Acknowledge the successful creation of the new Theme by clicking on the OK button.
