Summary

In this long but useful chapter we learnt what preprocessors are, the differences between the two most popular ones – and we learned how to use Sass, through its:

  • Variables

  • Partials

  • Import function

  • Math operators

  • Lighten and darken properties

  • Maps

And we used Sass to configure our breakpoints and text elements through them, making it easier to write and maintain your CSS.

In the next chapters we will do a recap of what we learnt 'til now – and we'll also explore the future of type on the web.

I bet you had a ton of fun!
