Chapter 6. Worksite Tools

In this chapter, we will discuss the different types of tools available, briefly highlighting the difference between their core functionality and how they are used in project, course, and portfolio sites. Administration tools, and tools that help integrate Sakai with other systems, will be left until Chapter 9, The Administration Workspace

Sakai is highly configurable, so if you have an account in Sakai, do not be surprised if you see other worksite types or roles. To add to the variation, there are numerous examples of high-quality tools that are not part of the enterprise bundle. Chapter 7, Contrib Tools, includes a long list and a description of the contributed tools.
