Installing Drush


Drush, a portmanteau of the words Drupal and shell, is a command line utility that facilitates the management of a Drupal environment from your favorite shell (the Terminal application on Mac OS X and the Command Prompt application on Windows). For example, installing a contributed module on drupal.org could be as easy as running the following commands from the command line:

drush dl modulename
drush en -y modulename
