If you are concerned about the speed of loading your application over the Internet, one of the areas you might look into is reducing the number of requests made by your app to download resources. One way of reducing HTTP requests is sending your resource files, such as, images as a ZIP package to the client.
In this recipe, we will look at how we can cache resources from a ZIP file.
To get started with service workers, you will need to have the service worker experiment feature turned on in your browser settings.
