In this chapter, we discovered how to write code that established a permanent connection between the client and server, enabling us to pass messages back and forth in response to messages. We also saw how to sign up to Auth0 and use this as the authentication mechanism for our application. Then, we learned how to write client-side authentication. Having spent the last couple of chapters investigating Material in Angular, we moved back to using Bootstrap and saw how simple it is to use in Angular.
In the next chapter, we are going to learn how to apply Bing maps in order to create a custom map-based application that lets us select and save points of interest in a cloud-based database that also uses location-based searches to retrieve business information.
