Segmenting an Image Using the grabcut Algorithm
When we need to separate an object from a cluttered scene, we can use the grabcut algorithm to segment it automatically. - Specify a rectangle that contains the object - Mark any areas that we know for sure are foreground or background - Run the algorithm with the image, mask and rectangle, and we will segment the image
