In this chapter, we discussed the core concept of coding with the C/AL programming language and compilation details. You also had some hands-on practice with VB programming. The main intention of this chapter is not to provide details about the functions and features, but the chapter is designed to provide the core concepts in order to boost the concept of computer programming with respect to the C/Side Development Environment. This chapter is highly recommended to not only technical professionals, but also for a non-technical reader.

In the next chapter, we will go into customization, development, and implementation considerations of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 in depth.
