Preface

Tuning up the NAV environment

Performance tuning is mostly a difficult section of software engineering. This is similar to redesigning the solution and for which you always need to investigate the problems and inefficient units of the existing system. Tuning up processes are mostly carried out by experienced professionals with some serious experience with the system. Here in this section we will focus on some of the major aspects of system tune up which are more generic to all kinds of system tune up processes. We will start from the root level, which is always the database, and will look into other different sections that usually contribute to an inefficient system.
