If you'd prefer not to create individual Configuration Profiles for each and every user and device, then it may be more appropriate to examine how to create a generic Configuration Profile that can be deployed and assigned to multiple users.
To create a generic Configuration Profile, we'll add a new Configuration Profile in the same way as shown in the earlier sections, although a few settings will be set to more generic settings or left blank for completion when deployed to the device.
The first difference is in the General section of the profile, specifically the name of the Configuration Profile and its unique identifier. Instead of customizing it for the end user, we can give it a more generic name, shown as follows:
