In this recipe, we will create real-time jobs and emulate the requests from the external system using the SoapUI testing tool in order to get the response with processed data back. We will go through all the steps required to configure all components required for real-time jobs to work.
In this section, we will install the open source SoapUI tool and create a new project that will be used to send and receive SOAP messages (XML-based format) to and from Data Services.
You can download and install SoapUI using the URL http://www.soapui.org/.
The installation process is very straightforward. All you have to do is just follow the instructions on the screen.
After the installation is complete, start the SoapUI. Use the SOAP button in the top tool bar menu to create a new SOAP project. Specify the project name and initial WSDL address, as shown in the following screenshot:
