This chapter describes the fifth and final stage of a Lean Six Sigma initiative, Control. This stage deals with the ways to sustain the improvements achieved in the previous stage. This is very crucial because without it, the improvements that have been made could be lost. For the organization to reap the benefits of the improvement, it is extremely important that these improvements are sustained and replicated throughout. This chapter describes the deliverables of the Control stage along with the tools and techniques to achieve them. At the end of the chapter, we will see the application of this stage to our case study.
