The control we have over the lights placed in our scene is amplified and taken to the next level with the use of the Edit properties menu. Lumion's light that offers more control is the spotlight, and this recipe is going to cover how we can tweak this light, use some techniques to improve our workflow, and improve the efficiency when lighting interior scenes.
If you are following the previous recipes, you should have now a nighttime scene with some spotlights and light fill placed. We are going to use these lights to explain how we can configure the light properties.
To configure the light properties, perform the following steps:
To configure the properties of a spotlight or any other light, you need to ensure that the Objects menu is open and the Lights and special objects button selected.
After following the previous step, locate and select the Edit properties button, which is shown in the following screenshot:
