Summary

In this chapter, we learned about the MABS messaging architecture and compared it to BizTalk Server. I encourage you to consult Bharathy and Fancey's Getting Started with BizTalk Services, Packt Publishing, for more detailed reading. MABS is important because, as more applications move off-premises, integration solutions will be required to connect to other applications on the cloud and on the ground. We believe that, in the future, MABS will fill this space, and we hope that we have shown that it possesses the same features that BizTalk Server has, to allow you to build service-oriented solutions.

In the next chapter, we will look at Azure Service Bus, which is an asynchronous cloud-based messaging service.
