Chapter 8. Leverage Azure Extensions in Dynamics 365

In the previous chapter, we learned how we can consume the new REST Web API endpoint in Dynamics 365 to perform various operations and how to use it to develop custom business applications. In this chapter, we will learn how Dynamics 365 natively supports integration with Microsoft Azure. This chapter assumes a basic understanding of fundamentals of the Microsoft Azure.

Microsoft Azure can be defined as a cloud computing platform or collection of cloud-based services that developers and IT professionals can use to build, test, deploy and manage applications through various data centers across the globe.
