Getting the most out of your samples

Sample packs are audio files that have been created for use in music production. There are many sample packs that are available for free online that you can easily find with a quick Google search. There are also premium paid samples for purchase.

When you're producing music, samples can be a useful tool to have. They can provide you with inspiration to get started. A sample pack may give you a head start in learning how to make sounds in a specific genre of music. For example, if you like house-style dance music, an Electronic Dance Music (EDM) sample pack can give you sounds that are commonly used in EDM, such as EDM-style percussive kicks, FX impacts, and riser sounds. I personally have a collection of percussion and FX one-shot samples that I frequently use in my songs.
