Sayali Lunkad is 23 years old and was born and brought up in India. She is currently living in Germany. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer science in 2014 from the Pune Institute of Computer Technology. She was a former intern in the Outreach Program for Women (now known as the Outreachy Program) working with the OpenStack foundation while still completing her degree course. After completing her bachelor's degree, she was freelancing for about one year, mainly working on open source projects such as OpenStack. She is a core reviewer for OpenStack.
