During this chapter, we covered how to interpret and understand cloud invoices and billing information in general from cloud providers. We also described the differences between dashboards and reports, introduced some financial basics that can help throughout our FinOps practices, and understood how to track savings and waste and make use of the unit economics concept. In addition to this, we reviewed some built-in assets that we can use as a starting point for FinOps analysis, as well as some guidelines and cloud services we can use to create our own dashboards and reports.
