Architecting Power BI Solutions in Microsoft Fabric

We started the chapter with an introduction to the roles and responsibilities involved in a Power BI environment. While covering roles and responsibilities, we learned about two key points: the permission required to perform each task and the delegation options in Power BI.
Understanding the permissions/roles in Power BI and delegation options is key when implementing a governance model, as it allows us the flexibility of letting users leverage Power BI on their own while also implementing the desired controls. We explored configuring capacities and domains and saw how you can delegate capacity and domain management tasks using the capacity/domain administrator and capacity/domain contributor roles. Finally, we covered how these roles and permissions can be used to implement the governance model discussed in this chapter.
