Architecting Power BI Solutions in Microsoft Fabric

In the previous chapters, we have covered the fundamentals of Power BI (in the first four chapters), and then we explored connectivity mode and intermediate data stores at length in the next two chapters. But, in this chapter, let’s take a step back and understand where Power BI fits in the overall Microsoft Analytics Platform that is Microsoft Fabric. Fabric is a modern software as a service (SaaS) analytic platform that allows us to build end-to-end analytics solutions in one place, and Power BI is one of its components. It is important to understand the components of Fabric because using the components of Fabric allows us to build efficient solutions in Power BI.
