Chapter 10. Goodbyes and Thank yous

Welcome to the final chapter of Unreal Engine By Example. To wrap up our journey we are going to look into how we can package our project into a binary executable! You will be able to give this executable and asset package to your friends to test the Network Shooter project together on different computers! Before we finish our education with UE4 I will quickly cover how we can get verbose profiling information from our projects. Finally, we will go over a brief recap of the book so we can revisit some of the learning experiences that we had during this UE4 journey!

We will cover:

  • The UE4 packaging process

  • Aim offsets and how to use them

  • Testing packaged networking builds via console commands

  • Profiling and debugging via console commands

  • Unreal by example recap!
