Summary

To sum up, there are many different options to choose your shape and the material from. Keep in mind that almost everything will work just fine, but since the purpose here is to build a quadcopter for aerial photographs, the lighter it is, the better result you will have. The best combination on shapes and materials is to use PLA plastic with carbon fiber arms so that your quadcopter will be light and stable too. Since the frame is ready, we can now go through the details about mounting our electronics on the frame.
