Time for action - preparing Master Files for DVD Architect


Often the final step when creating a project is to burn the final master video to a DVD or Blu-ray. Here we will go through this process to create our final disk.

  1. 1. Open our Beginner's Guide Project. That is the music video clip.

  2. 2. Once the project has loaded, double click on the music audio clip, which will create a loop point at the beginning of the audio clip and at the end. These will be marked with small yellow flags at the top of the timeline:

  3. 3. Select Render As from the File menu and the Render As page will open.

  4. 4. Click the little black arrow next to MainConcept MPEG 2 output format to reveal the template options.

  5. 5. Here you will find DVD Architect PAL Widescreen Video Stream, which will have an = sign to its left. This equals sign indicates that our project properties match the format properties the best in its category.

  6. 6. You will notice it says Video Stream, which means when it renders there will be no audio content...
