We learned a lot in this chapter about how to address the color of our footage in both a corrective and creative manner.
Specifically, we covered White Balance and Levels, their importance to the video's final output, and how to ensure they are sitting at acceptable levels. We examined the Video Scopes available to you in Vegas Pro 11 and how to read them in conjunction with our adjustments. The Color Correction tool with both its simplicity of use, but also its wide range of parameters was an important section. We also looked at the Color Corrector Secondary tool and how this powerful plugin can be used for corrective and creative adjustments with its ability to select specific color ranges to adjust within our footage.
Now that we have brought our project closer to being the pro-looking music video clip that it should be, we can move forward to learn a few more tricks and creative choices we can make for the video before we tackle the powerful Audio tools available to us in Vegas...
