Now, it's time to adjust the settings to get the look of this new pencil the way we want it to be, as shown in the following screenshot:
The previous screenshot shows the Tool Settings palette. This is where we change the tool's attributes, revert to what was saved as the initial settings, or save the current settings as the initial settings for the current tool.
This is a floating palette, so it can be kept open while we draw on the canvas. Right now, let's make changes so this pencil is a real Sketching Large pencil! Perform the following steps to modify the new Sketching Large pencil:
Click on the Brush Size category.
Set the brush size to large. In our example, it is set to 8.
As the previous screenshot shows, click on the icon for the Effect source settings (Pen pressure) fly-out menu.
Check the checkbox for Effect source settings (Pen pressure).
