In the previous chapter, we created a simple solution for a home-based surveillance system. In this chapter, we will convert our BeagleBone Black into a Wi-Fi hotspot. While doing this, you will learn how to enable the required configurations in kernel and how to change different kernels. You will also learn how to change the default upstart program. Moreover, we will create a recipe to modify the filesystem so that all our configuration files are in place when we boot up the target. These configuration files are related to different components.
