Adobe AIR has had support for embedded SQLite databases from the beginning. This is one of the best ways of storing structured information within our Android applications. SQLite is a software library that implements a self-contained, serverless, zero-configuration, transactional SQL database engine. The database files it creates are simply individual .db
files, which can be transported across a network, copied, and deleted just like any other file type.
