OSWorkflow: A guide for Java developers and architects to integrating open-source Business Process Management
This chapter covered PropertySet, a very handy way to store workflow variables, and validators to check the workflow's input data. Also, we introduced advanced definition concepts such as conditions, registers, transient variables, variable interpolation, and BeanShell scripting, for implementing very dynamic business processes. We then took a look at the FunctionProviders.
The next chapter will show you how to embed OSWorkflow into your application and to get the most of the persistence and configuration options. Also, we'll cover the workflow unit testing and the security model of OSWorkflow. Lastly, we will take a brief look at the integration between OSWorkflow and Spring, a very popular lightweight object container.
