JBoss Tools 3 Developers Guide
In this chapter, you will see how to exploit Seam Tools for developing Seam projects in a visual approach. You will see how to create and configure different kinds of Seam projects, how to use the database reverse engineering technique for developing a Seam application, how to deploy in WAR and EAR formats, and how to run unit tests using TestNG. Before exploring all these goodies, let's see what we are going to develop next.
In this chapter, we will use Seam Tools to accomplish four things. They are as follows:
First step: We will generate a simple Seam application using Seam Tools wizards. Among other things, we will set the Seam runtime, add JSF capabilities, and configure a database for a Seam project. Also, we will deploy and test our first Seam application on JBoss AS.
