Chapter 3. Printing

This chapter deals with different aspects of printing in Oracle Application Express. We will start with the two most used architectures in Application Express printing, Apache FOP and Business Intelligence Publisher. Then, we will see how to install and configure both Apache FOP and Business Intelligence Publisher. After the installation we will discuss how to investigate printing problems.

The main part of this chapter deals with layout of your report and describes how to include things such as charts and images.

Finally, we will look at some alternatives that can be used for PDF printing, plug-ins.
