Summary

In this chapter, we discussed structuring security operations as a set of services. This provides an advantage to the security teams as they can clearly articulate what they provide to the business and how. It also helps with understanding and working on the cadence of security operations.

Then, we discussed how to use the language of services to integrate agile and security operations so that security becomes part of development and operations in a way that is repeatable and measurable.

In the next chapter, which will be the last chapter of this book, we'll be looking at threat intelligence and how threat intelligence can be used in a security operations context.
