About the Reviewers

Max Rice is a co-founder of SkyVerge, Inc. He discovered his love of technology at the age of nine when he took apart family computers, then had to figure out how to put them back together (that resulted in interesting calls to Gateway tech support). He became interested into the software side of things and began programming in high school. Following a stint as a Technology Director for a small company. While doing freelance web design, Max returned to his first love, software development, and he paired up with Justin Sternto and founded SkyVerge, which specializes in eCommerce software. SkyVerge has become the largest WooCommerce developer due to its focus on top-tier quality and excellent support, and now owns more WooCommerce extensions than WooCommerce's parent company, WooThemes.

Brent Shepherd is a recovering WordPress freelance developer now working full-time as a WooCommerce extension developer. As a freelance developer, Brent worked for clients such as the Australian Government and Stanford University. He now spends his days working on WooCommerce Subscriptions—the most popular third party extension in the official WooThemes WooCommerce marketplace.

As part of the Australian WordPress community, Brent has helped organize WordCamps in Melbourne and the Gold Coast and spoken at WordCamp Sydney. He hopes to one day soon be a part of the world's first WooCommerce camp.

Web development is Brent's hobby and profession.
