Editing an emulated device


There are many mobile devices on the market, therefore, we may customize our simulator for a specific device or we may explore all the options to check how the theme looks. Besides, we may need to make some improvements or change the look and feel according to the way it looks on certain mobile devices.

Follow these steps in order to customize a device:

  1. Run Google Chrome.

  2. Run MoodleCloud or Moodle on-premises and log in.

  3. Press the F12 key.

  4. Once you have enabled Toggle device toolbar, go to the left-hand side of the screen where we can find the simulated device.

  5. Click on the downwards arrow next to Responsive, as shown in the following screenshot:

  6. A pop-up menu will appear, as shown in the previous screenshot.

  7. Click on Edit....

  8. On the right-hand side, a list of emulated devices will appear, as shown in the following screenshot:

  9. Then a list of mobile devices will appear.

  10. Scroll downwards and a list of ticked mobile devices (left screenshot) will appear which are the same...
