In Chapter 5, Code Once, Release Everywhere, we spent some time learning about the CreateJS JavaScript framework as well as the CreateJS Toolkit plugin for Flash Professional CS6 (http://www.adobe.com/ca/products/flash/flash-to-html5.html) and how they can easily integrate your pre-existing knowledge of Flash development directly into HTML5 projects. Over the last year, Adobe has adopted this framework to be the official way to work with Flash-based assets in your HTML5 projects. That being said, there are actually a number of other ways that you can achieve somewhat of the same effect when attempting to directly move your Flash-based applications and games into pure HTML5. In this chapter, we will continue to look at some of the third-party tools and applications that may aid you in your asset and code development flow.
