In this chapter, you learned how important it is to know some of the most important frameworks. You also learned the basics of two famous ones: Laravel and Silex. Now, you are ready to either use your framework or to use these two for your next application. With this, you also have the capacity to take any other similar framework and understand it easily.
In the next chapter, we will study what REST APIs are and how to write one with Laravel. This will expand your set of skills and give you more flexibility for when you need to decide which approach to take when designing and writing applications.
