A fundamental aspect of good enterprise-level content management is the capability to handle workflow of resources as they make their way through the editorial process. The workflow view provides a task-based interface to the system. Already, we've created a project to manage a particular subset of our content. Through the workflow view, we will be able to assign editors tasks to complete within the project.
To enter the workflow view, select Workflow
from the View
drop-down box in the top toolbar.
Initially, the workflow task list is empty. We are going to create a task in the Playground project, so select Playground Project
from the Project
drop-down list in the toolbar. Once you've done this, click the red check-mark icon (
) to create a new task.
Choose the appropriate group from the Task for
drop-down list. Since I want to assign it to Admin
(me), and Admin
is not in the traditional groups, I selected all roles
