Another common task that you may want to do with your Joomla! website is to track visitor statistics with the help of Google Analytics.
For this task, you'll need a Google Analytics account (which you can register for at http://www.google.com/analytics) and to retrieve the code provided once you have created a website profile.
1. Open your template's
index.php
file and find this code:</body> </html>
2. Before the

tag, add the code that Google Analytics provided for your Joomla! website. Once inserted, the bottom of your template'sindex.php
