Chapter 3. Say Hello to Einstein

We have completed the setup process and built the permission sets. We know that user types can be created depending upon requirements and we can create a user type and assign the permissions accordingly. Once you assign a permission set to a user, the permission set license is auto-assigned to that user. Let's start with some hands-on tutorials. In the previous chapter, we assigned a permission set to users and gave access to Analytics. In this chapter, we will create our first dataset and dashboard. This chapter includes different methods of creating datasets. It also guides you through easy and simple steps to create lenses, dashboards, and applications.

In this chapter, we will cover the following topics:

  • Data preparation
  • Creating datasets
  • Creating dashboards
  • Creating lenses
  • Visualizations
  • Creating applications
