Summary

At the end of this implementation, the entire integration was achieved in much lesser time due to the prebuilt EBM and EBS components. In addition, the AIA approach helped to build the integration based on mature SOA approach without any deviation in identifying the service granularity, message model, and interaction complexities. Similar to the shipment integration, other integration requirements such as maintaining products, customers, and pricing data integrity between JD Edwards and the e-commerce website has been implemented through the AIA approach. The data integrity process has been built as separate provider ABCS for each data model such as products, customers, and pricing, which has been consumed by the automated requester ABCS to import into the e-commerce site.

Overall, the entire project was implemented in a much quicker and easier way by using the Oracle AIA Foundation Pack 11g.
