Creating endpoint protection policies


Creating endpoint protection policies is the essential part of endpoint protection and defines how endpoint protection works on client computers. As with client settings, a default policy is provided and any blanks that are not defined in overriding policies will be completed with sections of the default policy.

In the assets and compliance workspace under the endpoint protection node, you will find the node to manage endpoint protection policies. Additionally, as with client settings policies, endpoint protection policies are deployed on a per collection basis.

As with client settings, you can edit the default policy according to your requirements and create overrides and additions in other policies. Double-click on the policy to open the following policy window:
