Chapter 5. Business-to-business Integration

A transaction between two companies in a buyer-seller relationship is business-to-business (B2B) as opposed to a B2C relationship between a company and its consumer. In the context of integration, B2B is about two organizations agreeing on a set of well-defined transactions for the exchange of business information. The B2B process starts off with a business negotiation or an agreement, which further translates into the technical details at the message flow level.
