About the Reviewers

Bruce Bookman is a Silicon Valley software and hardware veteran who has held roles from front-line technical support to the director of a software quality assurance. Recently, he has been VMware subject matter expert and a Level 3 technical support escalation engineer for a solid state storage company named Fusion-io. In late August 2014, he joined Oracle as a senior quality analyst for Oracle Cloud. He is the author of technical articles that cover virtualization and which are available on http://www.developer.com/. He created and delivered in-depth technical training on virtualization and several other topics. He has received a number of recognitions for customer advocacy and dedication towards customers' success.

John Hubert has been working in the IT industry since 2009 and has experience working in both MSP and corporate IT environments. John's expertise ranges from systems and network administration on a wide range of technologies to team management, client service, and technical writing.

John studied at DePaul University in Chicago, majoring in information systems. He got his feet wet in the industry at an MSP based in Chicago, where he was an IT manager. His focus was on datacenter implementations and the deployment of new technologies. His current focus is on networking. He co-manages the network of an enterprise-level technical consulting e-discovery firm headquartered in Washington DC.

John currently lives in Chicago. He enjoys the Chicago Cubs when they're winning, video games, and going outdoors as much as the chaotic Chicago weather allows. VMware Horizon View High Availability is John's first technical book review.
