Configuring and Managing Desktop Pools - Part 2

Following on from Chapter 8, Configuring and Managing Desktop Pools - Part 1, where we configured dedicated desktop pools, in this chapter, we are going to create a number of floating desktop pools using Linked Clones, Instant Clones, and also a manual desktop pool. Then, we will entitle end users to these desktop pools and therefore allow them to connect to a virtual desktop machine.

We will also look at some of the management tasks that you will need to undertake when deploying Linked Clone desktop pools, before finally looking at how to review the deployment.
