Distributing data using Azure Data Share
Up to now, we have examined options to consume data from your modern analytical setup using the typical reporting interfaces. But what about consumers that need data transferred to you as files? Or if you want to deliver outputs of your analytical efforts directly into a database that lives in another Azure subscription? Maybe it is even created in a subscription of your customer.
If you are thinking of sharing data, you might then also consider topics such as an agreement on the terms of usage of the data or regular updates if the shared dataset is updated on your side. And, of course, security will play a central role in your setup.
