In this chapter, we covered how to manage mobile devices with MDM. MDM is extremely powerful and there are multiple opportunities available with it. This chapter gives you a broad understanding and the knowledge needed to set up and use MDM, but there is a lot more detail involved with the different options available. As you start building out your MDM profiles and configurations, you will realize and learn all the different options available for your deployment that will allow you to deploy a more robust deployment.

In this chapter, we looked at MDM at a high level to understand what is involved. We then looked at the different types of ownerships available for enrollment along with setting up your organization groups and smart groups in preparation for enrollment. We then saw how to build and publish a profile for your devices.
